Our Philosophy on Senior Care

The Ohio Eastern Star Home is a continuous care retirement community. Given the significant range of senior care services on campus, we have an equally significant need for care assistants, skilled nursing staff, and other elder care professionals.

The Responsibility of a Senior Care Facility

We believe senior care facilities have an ongoing responsibility to provide the best possible care to each of their residents. At OESH, we strive to accomplish this by focusing our energy in three key areas:

  • Senior Enrichment — We provide access to new and exciting activities, events, and field trips through our Life Enrichment program.
  • Senior Independence — We promote and nurture the following values on campus:
    • Autonomy and individual value
    • Campus groups and communities
    • A resort-style list of senior amenities and daily perks
  • Senior Care — We prioritize hiring professional, passionate, and empathy-driven individuals for senior care assistants, administrators, CNAs, LPNs, etc. It is our goal to onboard professionals who will contribute positively to our campus environment, ensuring our elderly residents always receive the best care available in Central Ohio.
